Pair of Antique Islamic Qajar Period Ottoman Persian Silver & Carnelian Boxes 1880 Recently Added and illustrationPair of Antique Islamic Qajar Period Ottoman or Persian silver & carnelian Boxes, circa 1880. An unusual pair of antique Islamic Ottoman or Persian silver lidded boxes, circa 1880, each box being of conical shape and having a 'minaret' shaped finial to the lid, both boxes are finely engraved with Arabesque & leaping deer, interspersed with calligraphy. The bases have corresponding engraving and both the lids and bases are gem set with cabochon
