Collection 246 is built on 55% wines from the 2021 harvest, enriched with 35% perpetual reserve wines (20122020) and 10% reserve wines aged in oak (20122017). Chef de Caves Jean Baptiste Lcaillon raised the Chardonnay proportion to 54% (vs. typical 44%) to balance the challenging 2021 base. Partial malolactic (30%) retains freshness. The result is Roederer's signature: precise,
