The finger rings are beautifully decorated with a festoon detail and the handles are made from imitation mother of pearl, a material which was often used in the past for delicate sewing items. The pompom on these scissors has a small medallion with a hollowed out "S" in the same material as the scissors. The pairing marks are an important detail which enables judgement of the quality of the
