Coins are selected for quality and condition, and each is individually painted, set, and enameled entirely by hand. Using magnifying glasses and specialized brushes, artists add one color at a time to accentuate the coins' existing embossing. After each color's application, coins are tempered using high heat firing often resulting in days of work for
