The heart is made from a mid (19th) century gold fleur de lis paper

Woven Double Heart Paperweight Aqua Title: All-AmericanDouble woven hearts are the design in this love token. I have used aged papers. The blue was printed with a copy of an 19th century letter. I then aged and painted it with watercolor. I always hand cut my hearts with big utility scissors. No templates or die cuts are ever used. This vintage paperweight is 2 1 2" square.
