Alheit, Magnetic North Mountain Makstok Vintage:2024 freshly crushed raspberries and wetThe 2023 Magnetic North comes from ungrafted vines on their own roots from a massal selection, though from exactly where has been lost in time. It has a vibrant bouquet that has slightly more energy than the Huilkrans, extremely mineral driven with notes of sea spray and struck flint. The palate is very pure and pixelated, perfect in terms of acidity, with just a hint of menthol toward the finish. Outstanding.
