The 2015 Granite Syrah was matured for 18 months in 25% new oak

The soils are poor in organic substances

and eight single-vineyard wines claim this provenance

There is ample structure here as well though it’s largely buffered by all of the mid-palate extract and I particularly like the depth

Chapoutier, Ermitage Blanc Oree other_regions (92-95)/2034+More polite but superripe aromas of apple and honey. Very rich on the palate, with flavors of apple, honey and hazelnut complicated by suggestions of roasted herbs, grass and white flowers. Fat, dense and satisfying.
