Potato Sack Race, Two Views, Vintage Two Frame Contact Strip carved wood box and I think the patternI was am struck by the excellent juxtaposition of views here: at top a perfectly staggered line up of five young potato sack race competitors in profile, ready to go, (and in perfectly descending size), and below, three facing squarely front, again forming a perfect diagonal (with one rear end as punctuation!) I'm not entirely sure how to articulate it, but to me the effect is a sense of simultaneity, as if the photographer were standing in two places
