Vintage Wirework Egg Basket / Bowl with Collapsible Sides European wood carved figure and I really like how

and I really like how the figure is executed as a bust

the chain with loop is 4 3/4" long

with what appear to me to be iron plates wrapping around the sides

Each measures approximately 6 5/8" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/8"

such that I would likely just find a good place to display it--and turn it around occasionally to get a different view

The sides on this one can been positioned fully upright to form a tight bowl, or angled more outwardly to accommodate whatever one might want to put in it.
