and it is definitely quite an old one

another lovely one for the special ruler collection

4 1/2" tall x 4 3/8" long x 3 5/8" wide and in very good condition

but a little handwriting visible

And at first I read that as Secretary Poe (rather than POH) as in Edgar Allen, writing away with his feather pen! Red, white and blue and a sheaf of wheat with crescent moon to boot.
