Wild cherry, spice, menthol, licorice and dried herbs gradually reveal themselves, but ultimately, the 2016 is a Barbaresco that needs time to fully come together. Its promise and potential are both evident. Stylistically, the Fausoni is a bit austere, as wines from this Neive site tend to be. Antonio Galloni
