Beautiful Old Heavy Brass Drafting / Carpenter's Triangle two boys 6" x 6 " x

It appears to be signed/initialed on the underside of the base but I can't make it out

I've had a couple of snuff boxes with puzzle type lids like this one

with a few tiny tiny chips along the top edge

and sold as found in an old wooden box with fake grass inside

I would guess this old brass triangle was used by a carpenter, or a framer (?), through would certainly look very lovely now sitting atop a pile of papers on a drafting table, or a studio table now. I especially love the the raised rectangle near the 30 degree angle, which would allow one to rest a ruler against it to draw a straight line in the opposite
