The old vines are very much in evidence as there is a true abundance of palate soaking dry extract that imparts a velvety mouth feel to the mid-palate and buffers the very firm tannins on the youthfully austere

Pierrick Bouley Vintage:2019 I would also observe thatA more elegant and cooler nose speaks of various red berries, lavender and a whiff of anise. The delicious, round and caressing flavors possess good verve and reasonably good detail while delivering fine persistence on the dusty and again, moderately austere finale that flashes just a bit more depth. Lovely and understated.
