I find these old turned and colorfully dyed wooden spindles

perfectly counterpointed by these fenced beds of exuberant flowers in the foreground

Most are about 3 1/4" tall x 1 3/8" wide

I just can't not rescue things like this, which just need a cutout figure to put them into play again, or would be lovely together in a frame.
