Samuel Wood Gaylor c. 1920s Watercolor Portrait Nude ladies leg pipe tamper The large red cardboard boxOne final drawing from a small collection of works by American artist Samuel Wood Gaylor (1883 1957) found at Brimfield this summer; the dealer I bought them from had purchased a body of work by Gaylor and his wife Adelaide Lawson from a one time neighbor of the couple on Long Island. There are some a few stray blue pastel marks (on her face) and a few faint charcoal marks(along right edge) marks here, but I don't care, I think a very lovely and
