This refreshing effort is really quite good for a villages level Chassagne and worth checking out

There is excellent volume to the medium-bodied and admirably concentrated flavors yet this is not really a powerful wine so much as it is focused and harmonious

Just a tad more savour

This is certainly quite ripe but there is good tension and this should amply repay extended cellaring

with refreshing and spicy terroir and mocha aromas intertwined with concentrated fruit (or fruit skin) aromas and lemon zest notes

The tannins are a good deal more sophisticated here and I very much like the overall sense of harmony and refinement. Recommended. (90 92) 2013+
