I picked up the box because I found it very lovely, and clearly quite old, but them was delighted to find this bit of paper with the beautifully penned name and address of its one time owner Samuel Strang of Philadelphia and tiny whittled graphite pencil inside (which does indeed write!) Quite special feeling. 4 1 2" x 2 1 4" x 1" tall. All in good condition. Hairline split in the lid but it does not run the full length, has not
