this is not to say that it is an elegant wine though it is less youthfully austere than I typically find with this wine

A brooding and very reserved nose features aromas of dark berry fruit liqueur along with plenty of earth and underbrush nuances that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice

it soars out of the glass with seductive notes of crème de cassis

cinnamon and strawberry

and apple skin
