they're complete

as its round and flat form is a common one among them

While it seems most likely this watercolor was done just after Porter's engraving

with the only challenge being picking a favorite pose and then fixing it in place with a couple of strategically placed little nails--under a knee or foot for example

Beautiful Small Labrador Inuit Carved Doll in Seal Skin Parka and Pants name stamped tool I love the graphics onI find the carefully hand sewn hooded parka (made of seal skin I believe) worn by this small Inuit doll quite an amazing thing in and of itself, but also really loved removing it to reveal the fantastic long legged proportions of the doll inside! All the better to see his wonderfully carved and rosily painted face, too. 1920s or so I believe, with a "made in Labrador" sticker still attached to the back of one leg, and so lovely it just about breaks my
