I was quite surprised and delighted to find this one when rummaging through a box of odds and ends at a not especially fine shop about 30 minutes from home the other day

I believe they were likely brother and sister

a short section of ink text notes on "Darstellende Geometrie

with a bit of crazing to the pink glaze of the dog on one of the boxes

Satisfying and Lovely Solid Brass Wedge Doorstop maze perhaps this was his life'sA useful thing, very effective at holding open a door, but more than that a very lovely and satisfying object, which I'd be just as inclined to use as a paper weight, or add to a sculptural arrangement (a great complement to some geometric solid blocks, for example.) Solid brass, nice weight and feel in the hand, with with some good wear at the tip attesting to having indeed done some duty as a doorstop. 3 3 4" x 1" x 7 8. Very good condition, great
