Emperor Penguin Folk Art Doorstop studio pottery cheese wedge 4 3/4" t x 2What a charmer this Empire Penguin is, happily flapping his flippers! Fittingly, he's a doorstop, so one could assume he's waving hello and goodbye. Wonderfully graphic, and with some nice aging to the paint, especially on his yellow chest. 9" t x 5 3 4" w x 5 1 2" deep on doorstop. The doorstop piece is glued on rather than nailed. There are a couple of small chips to the wood on the backside of his feet, pretty minor and not visible from the front.
