Bright Eyed Large Presumed Inuit Cloth Doll with Embroidered Face on Hide and Yarn Hair woman in red (PennsylvaniaNo way could I look into her bright eyes and leave this girl behind; I simply have no choice in situations like this, where there is another soul involved! And, stripped of what was likely a hide or fur covered parka though still wearing her beaded moccasins she felt a bit vulnerable. Found in Maine, and I believe Inuit, she has a well stuffed cotton body, hide head and hands, hand embroidered face, and black yarn braided hair. C. 1920s 40s I believe
