Lovely Antique Watercolor of Three Apples in Great Frame antique tin lock box and for its black surfaceI've got a special weakness for paintings of apples, especially ones that feel as much like portraits as still lives, and think this antique watercolor is really a lovely one. Crisp and soft and bright, just like an apple, and I love how the artist so carefully positioned the apples such that all of the stems would point exactly the same way. Late 19th early 20th c. I believe, and in a terrific antique dark red painted frame. Framed, as found: 15 5 8"
