Description
I'd have a hard time puncturing this one with a stick pin
with a few dark spots here and there
and Linus among them) and a type of tellurian movement (patented by Engle) that illustrates the positions of the moon
which make it feel kind of like a little modernist sculpture
but realized it was probably made as a paperweight + ink pen holder
Bluebirds Over Heart Inside Garland, 19th C. Watercolor with Embossed Gold Foil Diecuts scenic painting I'd have a hard timeA lovely, happy thing, surely made as a token of love or friendship, with this pair of crossed bluebirds over blue heart suggesting a very "true blue" bond. And then an embossed foil die cut that looks to me like a boy pouring oil into a lantern, so, one presumes, to keep the flame forever burning. And a harp and horns, too! All wrapped up in a watercolored flowering garland. True love forever, so nice. Framed, as found, in a period frame. 3rd quarter
