powerful and incredibly well-balanced
This relatively refined CdlR should amply reward extended keeping and it is one of the better recent vintages that I have seen for this wine

Camille Giroud, Gevrey Chambertin Brut Zero Pol Roger's 2012 Brut Blanc(mostly from Les Crais). Notes of earth, dark berries and the sauvage introduce textured, supple and very round medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the mildly austere finish that delivers acceptable depth and length. This is perfectly good but nowhere near as good as several other of the Giroud villages wines. (87 89) 2022+
