Expressionistically Painted Duck Folk Art Doorstop, c. 1930s vintage native mask I'd guess 1960s or soOne sees lots of old handmade wooden doorstops of a similar manner, especially featuring dogs, but I'm not sure I've ever seem one executed is such a painterly, expressionistic manner as this wonderful duck. Indeed, it is so warmly and specifically done, I have to think the subject was wandering about nearby as this was made! 6" tall and in very good condition. Some paint loss on the green stop but just a bit on the duck itself, and a little cracking
