Description
a blend of Chenin Blanc
Roederer's 2011 Blanc de Blancs is showing brilliantly and no doubt reflects Lecaillon's decision to be extremely selective
The 1998 Monbousquet is medium to deep garnet-brick in color with wonderful dried mulberries
which is about 30% of the total climat)
18% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon
Philippe Pacalet, Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru other_regions_australia a blend of Chenin Blanc(from a blend of Sentiers and Feusselottes). Pretty and well layered aromas consist of plum, violet and spice elements. There is excellent minerality and a relatively refined mid palate mouth feel despite ample muscle and punch reflected by the bitter cherry, moderately firm and palate coating finish. This is not a Chambolle of lace and grace but I like the delivery as well as the underlying material. (90 92) 2024+
