There are a few small scuff marks and a couple of tiny chips in the glaze (not to the clay body) on the inside rim (only visible with lid off)

but the snowy landscape with bird perched on fence like a watchful guardian in the foreground is pretty great too

but one might put a few battery powered candles inside to make it emit a bluish glow

These are from a first edition 1949 WISC IQ test set, and would be used to task the test taker with recreating increasingly complex designs shown by the test administrator within specified time limits. These sets have become quite collectible, and no wonder hard to beat a classic design object
