Antique Painted Bentwood Box with Gold Flying Cranes git for her I found this1935 Bar LaThis dark green painted bentwood box features finely rendered flying gold painted cranes or herons amid curling lines evocative of clouds or water. Executed in a Japanese influenced art nouveau style, I would guess this box dates to the late 19th century. The underside of the lid and interior bottom of the box is lined with dark green fabric with a little padding underneath. Really lovely, it would be great for holding jewelry, sewing supplies (I
