This little vase is just big enough for a few stems (a couple of sprigs of red berries would be perfect in it right now)

but as this one shows some loss to the enamel (looking a bit like a snaking trail of glitter)

but just enhancing its sense of objecthood a bit

with wear to the cover and spine and a lot of smudging to the first inside drawing
