Germany, Ss. A Ss Long Service Medal, Iv Class For 4 Years Auction with a reverse inscription(SS Dienstauszeichnung, IV Klasse fr 4 Jahre). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938 1945 issue). Constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension from a period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing raised central double Sig runes, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised central number 4, overlaid by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, with wartime however
