Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a central sword on top of a mobile swastika on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked KARL HENSLER, PFORZHEIM, measuring 46. 06 mm (w) x 58. 42 mm (h), weighing 16. 8 grams, with minor loss of finish evident, in near extremely fine condition.
