I just love this solid walnut top as an object

I have found a number of lovely cast silver polar bears online of about the same size and to which it bears a close resemblance

The piece is signed on the bottom with what looks to say "Burke 92" but could be "Byrke"

There is some crazing visible in the white glaze of the flower and a bit of bleed of the brown glaze

The fineness of the detail on this piece is quite breathtaking

I love how simple, direct and confident this T is, presumably representing the trunk of a tree, or maybe timber. I think it would be absolutely the perfect thing in a cabin owned by a family whose last name started with a T, though pretty great anywhere, really, and just wish I had the whole
