Traxxas 9638R Shock Tower Rear Red Ultima Parts The separately sold LED LightRear shock tower for the Traxxas Sledge, machined from 7075 T6 aluminum with a red anodized finish. This is the upgrade over the standard 6061 T6 tower. 7075 T6 is markedly stronger and stiffer than 6061, and the rear tower sees the worst of it on a 6S truck hard landings load the rear first, and any flex there shows up as inconsistent rear damping and unpredictable handling on landing.
