The carving is just fantastic, densely covering every inch of the top and most of the sides all very painstakingly done, but revealing the hand of its maker through small imperfections here and there. IReally lovely, in great shape, and of a very useful size for holding all manner of things. There is a bit of wear to the stain in spots, and very small
