as a planter for a narcissus or amaryllis

and absolutely it was made with great skill

some with a darker stain

and the sides are joined by tiny brass nails

Painted Wooden Model Airplane Wings with Stars natural color basket un-dyed splint and grass presumedThese old hand painted wooden model airplane wings were just too lovely to leave behind at a recent estate sale (found in the basement, in one of many boxes of old tools and odds and ends.) It would be great to see them incorporated into a new model plane, or put to some other creative use; with these carved and painted stars against orange grounds, they are just beautiful! Each wing measures 5 3 8" long x 2 1 4" across x 1 8" thick. Sold as a pair.
