Sea Fury - T-shirt Canberra PR9 entering service with the FleetHawker Sea Fury The last piston engined fighter, and the fastest, to serve with the Royal Navy. The Sea Fury entered service in 1947 and was used during the Korean war and during the attempted invasion of Cuba in 1961. The Sea Fury was powered by the Bristol Centaurus aero engine enabling it to reach speeds of up to 460 mph.
