The slope of the tightly tied polypropylene side is readily scaled by crabs getting to the bait. Once inside the trap acts like a holding pen even after the bait is gone. Made with a vinyl coated steel framework, it features a 34" lower ring, and an 18" upper ring connected by five strong supports. Its conical shape gives the trap a low center of gravity to ensure upright landing.
