the UK and France ordered E-3 aircraft

The Gazelle first flew in 1967 and entered military service in 1973

The Italian Air Force, West German Luftwaffe and Portuguese Air Force operated the aircraft right up to 1995. The Frecce Tricolori used the G. 91 PAN between 1964 and 1982.
