Chinese Cinnabar Small Vase with Brass Interior lidded vessel Kelly received his first commissionThis vintage Chinese cinnabar vase, believed to date from the mid 20th century, features a section of deep relief on either side, with flowers and branches set against a recessed gridded geometric pattern. The rest of the rich, scarlet red vase features classic patterns of curling vines, petals, and solid bands around the neck, shoulders and base.
