New Indian Silver Ganesha and Parvati Amulet Afghan Antique 100+ year old silverLarge, newly made (in the past ten years) high silver amulet from Northern India featuring the likenesses of Hindu gods Lord Ganesha (the elephant headed deity, he symbolizes auspiciousness and wisdom) and Parvati; 40mm wide x 33mm tall with a 4mm loop, solid silver backing. Encrusted with vermillion pigment that is (also known as sindoor) considered to bring good luck.
