Anson - T-shirt Mach Loop based at RAF LossiemouthAvro Anson The Anson entered service with the RAF in 1936, primarily as a trainer and other roles from airborne early warning to taxiing ferry pilots for the British Air Transport Auxiliary. The Anson was also used by the Fleet Air Arm, Royal Canadian Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force. The Anson remained in service with the RAF right up until 1968.
